Easter Time
Easter time is here
Time for hot cross buns
Easter bonnets and chocolate eggs
While having lots of fun
Eater time is here
it it is a time for love
For Jesus Christ did rise again
To be with God above
Easter time is here
time for dafodills
as fluffly little baby lambs
do frolic on the hills
Visit church at Easter
for Easter hymns you'll sing
singing praises to our Lord
Our Saviour and our KIng
I wrote this little verse for our Mum's and Tot's Group at church

Before Easter
This is a time of renewal
And it happens every Spring,
Lots of flowers now are blooming
While the birds begin to sing.
Easter is a time of hope
And a season of rebirth.
It means Winter now is over
Because Spring has come to earth.

Niced one Mystic although this Easter. spring has not arrived yet We are having bitterly cold winter weather and we all are awaiting spring weather to arrive

Same here Doreen, we got new snow and ice too but every sunshine minute stirs the hope that we can soon welcome Spring for good! Happy Easter to you and yours!

Easter Sunday
The old wooden cross is being transformed
Into a thing of beauty, new life is reformed
The cross which was used on Good Friday morn
Is now on Easter Sunday with flowers adorned
Around the cross where Jesus hung
Our Easter songs are loudly sung
For we decorate with yellow daffodils
And soon the stark cross is quickly filled.
Easter is a joyous time for all souls
For it is spring and resurrection of our Lord
We welcome glorious Easter and new life
With hope for present and future without strife
So let us all our voices raise
As we sing loudly giving praise
For remember we are celebrating
New life and a new beginning
On Easter Sunday or Resurrection Sunday in many churches they decorate the cross with living flowers
We do this at our church on an Easter Sunday Morningand it was beautiful this morning

Thank you Doreen for sharing this moving Poem and the beautiful view of a treasured custom. In our Church we have an Easter lamb lying in a basket full of daffodils at the foot of the wooden cross.
By the way, p2s is online by the new host, but submissions and comments won't work for a few more days. Anyway, it is good to know that we are back soon now!
