For all those who don't live close to the sea, this question could make sense Can you remember the sound of the sea?

Remembering the Sound of the Sea
When I was young and wild I sailed the world's oceans learning a craft with guile upon shifting waves in motion
But know I'm old and lonely my mind plays tricks on me not able to sleep soundly I wake to the sound of the sea

Can I remember the sound of the sea?
We think it’s the sound of big waters and always the same That’s an error for which we might be to blame. Like sea is not ocean and waves aren’t just waves This big water of beauty and pleasure, also holds graves.
It’s the same with the sound, that so differently appears Once a melody so soothing, stirring overwhelmed tears. Stormy days makes it howling, chasing furiously against cliffs With noise and powerful moving throws ships onto the reefs.
To me murmering sweetly, while I sit on the beach Gentle waves splashing lightly on all feet in reach. Holiday’s over, I’m again far away from the sea It remains to the homesick, this eternal melody.
