An Open Door

It's often said poetry
is written from the heart
words which forms imagery
a brightness within the dark

An open door to the world
is what our words portray
stringed together like pearls
hoping our ideas will convey

Across the vastness of our thoughts
we find words to be paired
forging a bridge of all that's sought
Feelings unique to be shared

An Open Door

I love people to visit
So my door is always open
I will make a cup of tea
And many kind words are sopken.

My house is not alway tidy
But I try to do my best
people are always welcome
Even if I want to rest.

an open door is better
Than a door that is shut
So my door is alway open
For friendship I never get enough

An open Door

There is a secret behind closed doors.
This with actual doors and the same
With the door to whatever called world,
Where we may walk through a golden frame.

Here we step in and out over the doorsill,
On both sides find a familiar place.
For our soul at the final journey’s end,
Will be waiting endless divine grace.

Keep open the door to your heart in life,
It means giving and receiving so rich.
An open door beyond imagination
Leads cross the threshold over the last bridge.
