Who would not know about the jigsaw of life, while we often search for pieces that mend: Jigsaw of life

Jigsaw of Life
There are so many pieces In the jigsaw of Life For I am a daughter And a loving wife I am also a mother An aunty too A really god friend To quite a few
Yet our life can be so complex Trying to put it all together For it can be very hard Not just because of the weather But yet if you really try You can be a friend and wife For just living can be so hard Just like a jigsaw of life

The Jigsaw of life
Our life forms by thousand pieces like the ocean by waterdrops And many a times in this wide span we are standing on some tops. Each piece we accept and try to fit it in where it will go, It can work sometimes easy, often it happens we don’t know. In trying time we may lose some, they just seem slipping by We stop a while and try again and ask the questions ‘why’? One day to complete the picture, only the blue skies are left We see the light and passed are days when of hope we were bereft. All through life we gathered pieces like shells from seashore sand, Enjoyed the days of love and laughter, but time slips through our hand. With million combinations we shall set our puzzle right And the picture finally showing, is a masterpiece, what a sight!

Yes, Dee, you write from your heart, it tells the reader so much, may your jigsaw called life be less cutting.
Yes Mystic, life is very much as you describe a thousand pieces, each drop a piece of the puzzle, like both of these poems, and now I give you my version of the jigsaw of life, much sadder then what you both displayed.......ps: why is it so sad and dark, in watching the news and reading the news everyday one sees the evil in this world, and it is sad indeed.............will try and finish this poem, and in doing so will put a positive end to my words, but that is for another time........
The Jigsaw of Life
The jigsaw of life contains jagged edges That tears our dreams apart Lying in wait within the hedges Containing no soul or heart
Exists the embodiment of sheer evil A shape persistently oppressive and stark Trying so hard to be our rival Lurking convincingly inside the dark
