an Abandoned Lighthouse
One abandoned lighthouse
On an island in the sea
No one lives there anymore
But it is just magicial to me
it will protect the ships
for it comes alive at night
as Waves crash, sending spray
But the Beacon shines it's light
Thsi light in the darkness
is so bright, it pprotects
and Helps all the seamen
who will also respect

Doreen you write as if you have visited this abandoned lighthouse, and knowing you as I do, I feel for sure you have been to such a lighthouse. Which made it so easy for you to write this poem, this beacon of light that has saved so many sailors thru the ages, deserves our respect.
