The Elder Bush
The berries of the elder bush grow in the country away from town inside the thicket so bold and lush leaves a sweetness so profound

Sorry do not know much about the Elder Bush so looked it up and I wrote a poem about the myths of the Elder Tree and bush
The bush is associated to witches It has a bad temper And do not sleep under the Elder In any kind of weather For you may not wake up Expecially if you are old Yet Elder is a medicinal plant an cure anything from burns to common cold
But the Elderflower can be very useful Makes a delicious cordial and wine And if young girls was faces in the morning dew She will stay youthful in her prime But Judas used the Elder Tree When he hung himself After he betrayed Jesus For people said he was evil

Thanks to Roland and Doreen. Hugh, this sounds rather dark, I would think they must be good fairies with the elder bush, because here it is regarded with very positive meaning and there is not a farm house (at least not of old) which has no elder bush growing close to the house with the belief of good blessings coming from it.
