As it gets warmer outdoors, the birds are chirping again, we like to do this: Sitting on a bench

sitting on a bench near a stream
Down by the old mill Flows a gentle stream I will sit on a bench I will sit and dream For the stream does gurgle softly Yet in times long past While the mill did grind the corn The stream it would flow fast.
On the quiet and peaceful bank Many weary travellers rest sitting on the bench When the stream is at its best. Streams rush on each day To meet and join as friends For waters, they swirl and merge Right to where the rivers end.

Sitting on a bench
It's good we have a bench to sit on near the shops, there is one near the church gates to see the world go by, another one by the river over the mill race. Two or three on the church meadow three on the churchyard, its lovely to hear the bells ringing for another hour, and now they have three just over the road to my house. I like sitting on a bench daydreaming!
