A Puppet Show
You’re pulled by the strings
Life is given by me
You can neither feel
Nor can you see.
I give you a voice
To speak what I want
For you is no choice
You are what I grant.
I make you smile, sing
And dance, to bring joy,
Laughter and romance,
How I weave the story.
You’re just a puppet
On a string, a thing –
We are connected though
By the joy we bring.
