Poets and their poetry an A-Z

I hope this board will lead us through an A to Z of poets and their poetry. To give all a chance to read, comment and add their own poet each letter will last a week before it is changed to the next in line.
The idea is that we start with the surname A.... at the top and then a poem by that author. Add comments if you wish and other poets as you wish keeping in mind the Letter of the week.
I will start it off.
