Return to me
Forlorn, I sit each day and wait,
Waiting for my lover to return.
It was here, I watched as you sailed away,
From my life, and I sit and yearn.
You promised me, you would soon be back
And said our love was true.
No one ever sees my tears
As I sit alone
And wait for you.
Waves pounding and smashing,
The foaming white waves,
Cascading high into the air.
While I sit watching the watery graves
Of the many seamen, who meet their end?
Whilst sailing the high seas.
I still sit and wait, in all weathers,
The strong winds, cool breeze,
And I'll wait for ever.

The Return of P2S
Your return is a flashing glance
Far too long we have missed you
Now is back the daily chance
To read poems or post them too
Dressed in the glow of yesterday
With Bluebells gracing our eyes
Your members are present and may
Light up the stars in poetry skies
I take the pen fresh filled with ink
And wish for inspiration
May for you all the Muse wear pink
Stirring rhymes of flirtation
