With your eyes
The mirror of my own dreams
I can see in your eyes.
They show love embedded,
Your heart’s most wonderful prize.
With your eyes you tell me
Unspoken words from your heart,
They strongly gift me with
Trust in all we wish to impart.
With your eyes I discover
Rainbows in a setting sun
And a twinkling promise
That more glorious days are done.
With your eyes I see beauty
In the sweetness of a flower,
They give me hope and trust
In love’s unfailing power.

With your eyes
What can you see?
All the beautiful things
God made for you and me
A beautiful rainbow
All woven with light
Yet needs sun and rain
To show this delight
Seven different colours
High in the sky
Symbols of happiness
No need to cry.
God sent the rainbow
We all can share
So after a storm
Just stand and stare
See the beautiful colours
For they don’t stay long
So just keep looking up
Or the rainbow has gone
For with your eyes
Remember wnat you can see
And please thank God
For all this beauty is free
