The Bluebell Wood
Will you walk with me On a carpet of blue While smelling the perfume And admiring the view Hold my hand tightly Listen as the thrush sing Stand still in the woodland For the bluebells are beckoning

The Bluebells
We know a few bell-shaped flowers Some we regard as if they are ours In May, my garden radiates in blue Spanish Hyacinths grew all through
Then I heard about a Bluebell Wood Saw pictures too good to be understood I was told it is THE English flower Laying on the ground like a blue shower
The ancient of family Hyacinthoid So fragile, they take time to breed To this gorgeous flower I lost my heart Although I’m living far apart
Never saw them in woodland glory On wishful mind I weave a story That I would walk this path where A Bluebell carpet designs atmosphere
A few tiny flowers struggle here now In a corner of our woods they bow Their homeland soil they surely miss I care for them and they are my bliss
