Don't worry about the French title of this Weekly Theme. We are sure everybody can understand it (Song of love and romance) and everybody sure has some memories...
Chançon d'amour
(lets go this journey back some years...)

Our Song
My darling lover, without your kiss I'd die rose petals flutter, as my world you enthrall: Your whispers of love, as the daybreak forestall, birds sing melodies, while butterflies do fly. Tenderly touching soft white clouds upon high dancing on snowflakes, at our own private ball. Six saxaphones play, silently angels call Stars offer bright lights,as clouds go rolling by.
Trees quickly dressing, in their best spring costumes They stand there so tall, proud and so very strong showered with beauty, watching love in full bloom. World of enchantment, this is where we belong.
Sweet smelling roses, natures sweetest perfume, Two hearts in tandem, singing one perfect song.
Doreen E Hampshire
This is a type of sonnet,

Chançon d’amour…
We may recall this melody
Of flaming hearts a symphony,
Then when I pause and think of you
Feelings are stirred, simple and true.
There’s love when you are standing near
When we’re apart, it draws a tear
So I pray we remain united,
Our common path always lighted. My love will bloom beyond my way
And with my last breath I will say -
‘We shared the good so don’t be sad
Since a great blessing we just had’ Our love was and will always be,
As it was meant for you and me.

Dee, and Mystic, I read your words and want to blush, love flows in all your lines, and best of all you say it so well. Now I will try, and give you a male version of a love song.

Melodies of Love
I sing a song of love for you from dreams which haunts my heart it stirs a urge I still do rue on that day you did depart
The fading image of your grace brings the memories I hold so dear in dreams I touch your face, kiss your lips feel the tears which lace our fear
Knowing I'll chase another day alone without your touch to ignite desire continuing to live in a muffle tone remembering how we created such fire
I shall never forget and always remember the melodies of love we shared as one forever within the fading ember my thoughts for you I'll never shun
