A simple title for our Weekly Theme, but it also works as metaphor.
One Way Ticket

One Way Ticket
In my age thru grace I find myself aboard a train which hums a cadence like the rain which hides within the chase
Towards this point of no return I ride the winds named destiny forwards I go I will not turn my one way ticket becomes my fantasy

I can talk to anyone As I board the train with my one way ticket I.m starting over again
I will do some things i have never done before For I have a one way ticket Because I.m alone once more
I'll climb a moutain Look at the stars Sail alone on an ocean Might travel to Mars
There is now no us It's just me alone NO us, or them ME, just the one

One Way Ticket
I like the thought of those that may a one way ticket for a lazy day you could go by bus or car or train but have you condsided an aeroplane? If you go by plane and can't decide Austrailia, too hot outside Iceland is cold and the mountains may rumble and Russia is there but people may grumble a one way ticket to a polynesian isle that is a dream and worth my while.

Alan, what thoughts you share our way, one question, do you have enough room in your dream for this Texan to walk the sands of this Polynesian island, the fish we could catch, ha, ha.

One way ticket To where the sun sets in the ocean The sea and wind stir deep emotion, Where love makes the daily living And all cares aim just for giving, There I wished my train to lead me My dreams already I can see.
This ticket brings me out of rush Shielded from noise, I hear the thrush. Every place is immersed in bliss, Enchanting is the nature’s kiss. Pleasure even in rain and thunder That leads to refreshing slumber.
Only friends and peace in a place I hope to find in reachable space. Sea and sky join by golden strand, Shooting stars like a fiery band, From such place, who wants to return? A one way ticket is my concern.

One way ticket (spiritual) We all will be called for the last journey When our soul to another world must go, The ticket’s priceless for that unknown day, No choice of class, same goal on us bestow.
All lifetime we were told of pictures More beautiful than any place on earth. That there to Heaven’s gate we will be lead, Was known inside, since the day of our birth.
This one way ticket then we can’t refuse, If we have faith we should not be afraid, The Paradise we often tried to see, Will become radiant clear, instead of fade.
The last trip though – may there still be some time – With inward views, through windows of our heart, Our airstream being gratitude and peace, Behind the last doorstep, there’s a new start.

A challenge to Alan, Mystic and Dee. I have written the first stanza, now if each of you will write a four line stanza along the lines I've written, then we will have poem that I can record with a musical background, to post on the main page of P2S. What do you think Alan, would you post this poem by the four of us, being we are the only ones who have played this game, just a thought. Mystic when I read your two poems, it gave me this idea, thanks my friend, hope it bears fruit.............Roland........
A one way ticket to one's heart exists between two souls marriage creates the spark merging together warms the cold

A one way ticket to wise age is more or less guaranteed with poems we like to fill the page and hope, they may spread some seed...

Wow Mystic, and Dee, what lines you both have written, like what I've read so far. OK, Alan, just need four lines from you to close this poem, and I will do the rest if you will agree.
