Holiday time I must say brings such good cheer
A period for reflection and relaxation
Setting a mood releasing all fear
Creating a joyous feeling of grand sensation
I revel in this time of quite grandeur
Brings peace to those who partake of the venture
Calms the soul when one does meander
Upon new sites makes holiday a fine gesture

Holiday Time
I go on holidays
quite a lot
I love to go
Where it is hot.
Cold weather for me
Is not to good.
I love hot places,
And if I could.
I,d go abroad
to search for sun,
every month.
That would be fun.
I go on tours,
Around the world.
So many things
that I have learned.
But if I were a millionaire
I could go just anywhere.
So I would chose
A place to stay,
where it is hot
nearly every day.
I go on holiday
such a lot.
I love to go,
where it is hot.
But no matter
Where I roam
There is no better place
Then here at home.

Holiday Time
So many treasures we have found
Like gemstones, fossils, fancy shells.
Quality time to look around
For gifts, granted by the sea swell.
Along the shores walking hand in hand
The wind playfully tearing the hat.
You wrote ‘I love you’ in the sand
Washed away by the next wave’s splat.
Our cherished treasures still the same,
While our memories are ageing - -
To refresh them is all my aim
On holiday times by stages.
