Nowadays the sun is setting very late here, I was reading outdoors still at 10.15 p.m. by 'daylight'...
So I thought of the new Weekly Theme as:
At Sunset or if you prefer just Sunset

Sunset in summer
Barefoot walking hand in hand digging toes in sun warmed sand.
Golden skies and shimmering seas Salty air and and cool sea breeze.
Soothing songbirds, skies now blue the sounds of Summer, me and you.
Children happily at play on a hot summer day.
and when at last, the day is done I love to watch the setting sun

At Sunset
As sunset skips across the sky before fading into the night An Autumn sunset ,like fire in the sky At eventide, is flaming bright
As the setting-sun sparkles in the ocean Brilliant and bold, a dazzling delight The sun kisses the shimmering horizon Before fading into the night

Sunset when the sea is shimering the waves resting in the shallows and the sandy shore peaceful once more.
Some sea Terns with there black cap of summer dive to catch fish and long tail streamers glistening like gold with the setting sun.
The red sky is a prelude for tomorrow calm seas and a host of day trippers but this evening all is serene once more.

Across a sea that feels so mellow A Golden sunset I do follow Towards the clouds so peacefully hallow Streams a rainbow so simple and shallow
(this is the beginning of a new poem, I will write in the coming days, thanks Mystic, for I needed a idea, and your golden sunset was just the trick to get me motivated.

Sunset
Behind the purple mountains Is where my sunset shows Bringing deep tranquillity When the last sunshine glows
Slowly the sky will darken Turning from pink to night-blue While far away the day stands strong In that place where I find you
I can feel the world grow peaceful Like it usually should be And there beyond the sunset Lies a home for you and me

Mystic, you've written a lovely poem, I can only think of one more stanza that would fit after the second stanza, thus creating one beautiful sunset for one to imagine.
