Moonlight
Between the stars which shines so bright
resides the moonlight that fills the sky
a sheen which flows so ever light
contains the echoes of all who sigh
For in the beauty of the moonlit night
one sees reflections from the past
this glittering spectrum offers insight
of God's creations truly a great task

Moonlight
Moon is rising as sun doth fall
The yellow moon high above
Is shining down moonbeams
It’s so romantic when you are in love.
Lovers dance at moonlight
Under the starry sky
They smell the roses in the air
And see the moon through starry eyes
Lovers like to share a kiss
On moonlit nights
Holding each other tight
While the moon is shining bright
Lovers like to walk and talk
Under the moon and stars above
For me I really am at peace
For I am so in love

Moonlight
Dreams of Sunday afternoon
Brilliant like a rose in June
To his sea side bent the way
Therefore they have made my day.
Now to the moon I fix my eye
Moonlight always draws you nigh
All over the wide span of sea
To these paths so dear to me.
Dreams, like steps climbing the hill
They reach the moon marching still
Boundless freedom fills this room
Beneath the mystic evening moon.
In these dreams I never slept
And all my wishes they were kept
In faithful hope that they will soon
Greet your day by descending moon.

Mystic outstanding line "Greet your day by descending moon"
Doreen love your last line "For I am so in love"
Which makes these two poems a cut above.
