New weekly theme

With Mystic being away this week I will put on a new Weekly theme.

Summer's end



Those lazy day's went quickly by

With summer weather, hot and dry

For children will soon be back in school

and soon the cold winds will start to rule

This summer really was the best

Much better than all the rest

September is waiting around the bend

as our summer is coming to an end

This suummer it was really cool

But now is really is time for school

So the theme is Summer's End Thank you

Being I did not add a poem for last week, will put these two together.

The Promenade of Summer

It's nice to end this promenade which summer has instilled
the heat at time endurable has seemed to infect our nerves
with hope the north winds blows and move the air so still
we wait and still we sweat hoping the winds will swerves

(later will post a full poem with musical background on p2s
this site gives me ideas for poems, thanks Mystic for
coming up with this idea, and you too Dee for this week's
theme)
