Just smile
I love the way you smile at me
So I smile, because you smile.
A smile, is just a little thing
Yet it can travel miles
Like a cold it quickly spreads
For a smile is so infectious
So if you feel a smile begin
Don’t worry, it’s not dangerous.
So if things are going wrong today
With it’s many ups and downs
Just try to smile, then pass it on
For one smile is worth a dozen frowns
It actually costs nothing
To give a smile away
Life is a mixture of sunshine and rain
But a smile can help make a brighter day.
So smile my dear, smile at me
And I will smile at you.
So when others see us smiling
They will want to do it too
So always count your blessings
For there is nothing more worthwhile
But to give a little bit of hope
And to share a beautiful smile.

Sometimes it's hard to share a smile
when not all is going well
remembering life as a child
brings a magical spell
Living can have its up and downs
it's a price we all must pay
turns all smiles to a frown
in our living day to day
We seek a cure to ease the tension
to find a way that will overcome
issues which keeps us in a prison
causing so many to succumb
The fix is in the eternal light
be brave enough to believe
the dark will hold no fright
as our soul no longer grieve

Thanks Dee, I wrote this poem with you in mind, Mystic I too enjoy this forum, it helps me in a way to write poems. Sometimes I expand on the poem I posted here, and post it on the main site. Maybe others will come and join us, just have to believe........

Be just attentive of what you will say

Courage, giving the other’s heart power
Like to the draught a gentle rain shower.
A tender smile helps to heal someone’s pain
