The Moon
You come out so bright
In the dark of the night
Yet you fade away
Before the dawning of the day
Lovers go a-roving
In the light of the moon
For night is made for lovers
But day returns too soon
I do love to see the moon
And the shiny stars
For the moon smiles a lot
Up above, so far

The big Moon
Serene and quiet, a full moon night
Kissing the world with golden light
In silent awe it’s stirring dreams
Waking illusions with silver beams
Landscape gently laid in slumber
While heart and reason tear asunder.
Full moon’s mesmerizing beauty
Wakes romance, wipes out the duty
So light it makes our spirit soar
Deprives of sleep, we can’t ignore
The soulful presence that illumines
Beyond the clouds where our fate shines
Chiara luna, your magic we respect
We marvel at your calming effect
Your shining face with mystical rune
Once a year makes you The Big Moon.
