Starry Night

Watching the stars in the night sky
We sit beneath the sky so high

Look at the sky on this starry night
As the crescent moon shines, oh so bright

The crescent moon lights the sky above
Shining brightly on people in love.

The star so brightly they do shine
As they twinkle, you are mine

Above the town, away from crowds
See the dark swirling clouds.

Now there is sadness in the air
As there is darkness everywhere

Areas of gloominess now begin
As the clouds come rolling in

Yes the clouds are sad and dark
Rolling in fast over the park.

So on this dark starry night
Let us now walk towards the light

Clear starry sky

There is this magic with the starry sky
It’s touching the heart and we may not know why.
Blinking diamonds in a dark-blue velvet span
They belong to an eternal, divine plan.

Dazzling lights make us marvel always anew,
Thousands we can see and millions still strewn.
We will never comprehend the dimensions of space
But every night in admiration we turn up our face.

Starlight twinkling in the peaceful atmosphere,
To escape life’s burdens we may wish to be where
The stars are glowing while others burst to death,
And to where we’ll send even our very last breath.

Gazing at a clear starry night, is giving
Inspiration, peace and insight for living,
Lest forget feelings of craving and romance
And holy moments when our heart starts to dance.
