With the night starting earlier by the days now, they accompany us every day: The lights at night

Bright stars shine upon us As we climb into a warm bed Birds have now long gone So now is time to rest our heads The moon also shines at night She can lull us to sleep She smiles sweetly on us encouraging dreams so deep

Lights at Night
There are too many lights at night Dark time of day is far too bright Especially birds getting confused By all the light excessively used.
We ban the shadows to feel secure Do we need this, we are not sure We’ve in abundance what others miss Different from times we reminisce.
A trip to some inhabited place Or high in mountains’ silent grace Where there is no light, we discover Some wonder, we thought it’s all over.
A sky with million stars blinking A view that our soul is drinking We feel we can see so much deeper Into universe, the timekeeper.
