Spring-a-calling
March the birth of all things wonderful, Came in like the proverbial lamb. Lovely sunshine beaming down, So pleased with that I am. Our feathered friends are chirping, And singing all day long. Spring flowers are arriving, Now that winter’s gone. They sparkle in our gardens, Lighting up our lives. As we smile at one another, Now that spring's arrived. For the crocus and the snowdrop, Have already been seen. But although the daffodils are late, Soon they’ll make a lovely scene.

The colours of Spring
Despite all beautiful colours of yellow, blue and pink For me there’s one special colour, the greatest I can think, It is the GREEN in various shades so fresh and bright The colour of hope is soothing joy after all the winter white.
Soft grass and tiny leaves are caressed by a warm breeze And soon the bulging buds are bursting open on the trees. While blossoms like a fancy dress grant a magical flair The green leaves are soon dancing happily in the air.
The wonders of Spring fill our days with a rich display Our songbirds return and high in the blue sky they sway. New awakening brings promises by magic spell, Spring is warming up to bid Winter finally farewell.
