Believe I believe in miracles And that dreams come true Perhaps not tomorrow Some day our time is due If you would just hold on Be strong through your trail Your storm's not forever Just over it will sail If it's cloudy right now You could see past the rain Never give up on your dreams Cause you have more to gain It's a test of your faith Finding out if you believe You may reach for the stars Be surprised what you achieve Challenge may break your heart You get lost along the way Don't forget God cares for you He'll answer if you pray I believe in miracles And that dreams come true Please, I want you to know God and I believe in you

I too beleive in Miracles Angel and I just loved your poem Thank you
Some-one watching over me
I do trust and I do believe for I have loved and I have grieved Yet some-one watches over me I know because I am still free
I also know things do come right when I'm in the darkness looking for the light Also guided to the right road Some-one is there, when I have a heavy load
And I do believe God is watching over you as well Alan Take care my dear friend

Angel42, what words of healing you bring our way, letting Alan know how much we all care. Yes, Doreen you and Angel42 show in your words how much you both care, for our beloved Captain. The crew of p2s awaits his return, and I for one believe as you both so richly state in your words of belief......

A truly strong and meaningful poem Roland, thank you! July now is over and I think it has been a very dark month in some ways, so we gladly take up August with lots of confidence, trust and sharing the smiles of life. I tried to add a picture to your precious poem as it makes Forum look a little more like our main poetry page. I hope Doreen and angel42 won't mind the pictures (they can be removed)!
Words of faith and comfort, thank you angel42, they are supporters and leaving the trust in hope to never fail. Doreen, your words too, they transmit the wisdom of believing. Thank you! These poems all, they can give so much and I know that all who read them do feel the blessings.

Sanctuary Is there a sanctuary within our dreams which comes to us at night Does it contain the very fabric which glows so ever bright? Will a key be needed to unlock the door from an uncharted past? Or will the gate be left wide open for all to trek and crash Fantasies do come in many forms to shape our inner soul The night supplies an entrance to a heart that can be cold Variables in life can often taste like bitter fruits Enough to make one wonder can destiny bear truth Does reality have its limits, beyond the point of no return? Will we accept what has been cast even from those we’ve spurned? Is there a madness to all that comes in the darkness of our fright? Is sanity the norm in the vestiges of the light? These unknowns will linger in the scepters of our domain As we look between reflections promising never to be tamed For the dawn contains no mercy for those who will not wait Leaving haziness within the shadows to silence what we forsake Written by: Roland R. Happy days I went out this morning and the sun was shining. Birds were singing, so everyone was glad. A change from being sad because the sun was out. HAPPY DAYS.

Excellent read of all your poems here, good somebody remains so lets go on, friends! FRIENDSHIP'S WIND I set my sails to catch the force Of winds that blow but have no course But soon there hit a stiff warm wind Which filled the sail, the rudder pinned And as I pulled the main sheet tight My mind was filled with great delight For with the strength of this new breeze My boat surged forth through unknown seas To distant port not knowing where I kept the course and didn't care And lo I found safe harbor true The wind had brought me straight to you (Alan is a sailor, right?)

Doreen, short and sweet and happy days will be again, that you can take to the bank. Raphael, yes indeed Alan is a sailor, a fine one at that, and what more he is the Captain of the ship known as p2s. His crew which includes you my friend await for his safe arrival at the port we've all come to share, with God's grace he will get stronger and stronger as each day goes forwards. He's coming in on friendships wind, for it blows straight for us, thanks for sharing your words......

:)One More Step
Life is a journey, we travel alone On the road which is twisted and long Full of joys, sorrows pain and despair But just one more step will help you move on.
You just take that one small step As you travel that winding road On a journey that never concludes For it will help to ease your load.
Your journey, full of mystery Some parts are cruel and hard But as you take that one small step It will stop you from feeling scared.
As you walk alone on the path You’ll often see storm clouds ahead So just take that one small step Then blue skies you’ll see instead
Sometimes you may stumble and fall For you cannot go on any longer Yet you just take that one small step Then you’ll find yourself getting stronger.
Remember as you walk through rain When you see that rainbow appear Just walk one step into the light It will help elevate your fears.
Each new day, each new challenge That greets us at the bend Asking, seeking, as you stumble and fall Just take one more step to the end.

A Dashing Wanderer
I’ve been told my written thoughts Go very deep, perhaps they do I hope with these lines you’ll understand There’s a lighter side belonging to this poet
I find within the shifting sands a melody which time emits A cadence, which we march too in all that, we commit Within the prose of words, we write lies styles and a scheme Like a dashing wanderer in search of wayward dreams
I write to ease the tension from the shadows of the heart Seeking remedies to calm the doubts trying to find that spark This gives the reader a pathway towards a gracing light Taking pains not to hurt, those who feel contrite
Upon this avenue, I saunter it seems to have its way Riding the darkness trying to find the sunlit rays of day At times, I fall into a rut from the thoughts I do write There’s another side to me frozen deep with insight
So I’ll continue to trek beyond the destiny of this fate Looking between rich valleys for stanzas to partake Searching for special feelings, that will last the test of time Inside this soul lives a poet who speaks in rhythmic rhyme
Towards this mode, I wish to embrace in all I do convey Hoping my words is heartfelt not leading one to stray I prod upon this magical venue wishing to command Ideas kept deep within I pray you’ll understand

Lavender Fields
Lavender, sweet lavender A scented purple haze With radiant lilac flowers I stand and look, amazed
Row upon row of lavender In among the flowers While I stand and smell the aroma The fragrant lasts for hours
Wandering through natural beauty Walking row after row Lavender fields a lilac sheen As the wind does gently blow.

HOPE OF DAWN The sun arose this morning And gifted me with day As night receded in the sky To landscapes far away For that which causes tears and fear And lurks where shadows dwell Flees the mind when light of day Dissolves the frightful spell So seek the hope that light does give For darkness it dispels Know the strength that it portends And all that morning tells For gladness comes when dawn appears As sunshine fills the heart And dreams and dragons of the night Are thoughts that soon depart Yes when the night has fled away All darkness then is gone For hope of life and living light Returns each day at dawn

Oh, Angel42, you gifted us with such words of hope and light for the coming of a new dawn. Your words seems to vanish the darkness which lurks in the shadows of our minds. Each stanza leads to another with such fortitude which disolves the fright that times can come upon us when we feel the lowest. A highlight poem I would say...............

Within the Curl Within the Curl Inside the brevity of time Lies a fantasy so well refined Raining of spirits, we wish to combine Can cause elation to mellow our mind We march to a cadence justifying the field Collecting our wits maintaining our keel Resounds the bells some think unkind Towards life’s experience so well defined From the dungeons of a heart contrite, we laud We surge on seeking a reliable facade To banish the thoughts which at times unfurl? The unmistakable reality locked within the curl Age we consider our redeeming grace Placates our youth along the winds we chase Extending our lives upon the road we pace Cultivating serenity we willingly enlace Towards a specter of unbinding faith Lives the destiny which we seek This calms the wake within our gait Which lessen the scent of what we reek? A perfect World A world where no one needs to fight. Where all of the children Are good and polite The adults all get on with one another we would all treat each other as sister and brother A peaceful world where All is sunny, and there would always plenty of money. No one too rich, yet no one too poor. There is no one so ill that they cannot be cured. You need never be lonely as everyone is a friend. Nobody is homeless the violence would end. Drugs would be used for medication only. no one would argue, as people could talk openly. That would be my dream, but it would not really work. As there will never be A Perfect World. Oh, Doreen you pen a sad poem, but for this world your words ring true, but this I might add you say "As there will never be a perfect world". The next world will be just that, when our Lord and Savior takes control and banishing all evil your dream will come true.......nicely penned words....
